United States Hockey League

The United States Hockey League (USHL) is the premier junior hockey league in the United States.  The USHL is comprised of 16 teams throughout the Midwest United States.  USHL players are some of the top junior players in the United States aged 16 to 20.  USHL players are amateur meaning they are still eligible to play in the NCAA.

Over the years, the USHL has produced an increasing number of future NHL hockey players and a countless number of college hockey players.  Most USHL players are drafted through the USHL Futures Draft and the USHL Entry Draft.  Players not drafted can be invited to tryout during a teams summer tryout camp and possibly make the final roster for that specific team.
